Rhododendron ‘Glowing Embers’ (Azalea Group)

Rhododendron ‘Glowing Embers’ has coppery young foliage which make a fine contrast with its radiant orange-red flower than bloom in May. This showy, deciduous cultivar is from the Azalea group, withstanding cold, north facing positions with ease. Grow it in a shaded, acid border or woodland edge, where its colourful autumn foliage will extend its season of interest well into October. Feed Rhododendrons in spring with a slow release fertiliser for acid-loving plants. Protect plants from cold winter winds. Height and spread: 120cm (48).
