Peony ‘ Jan van Leeuwen’ is an enduring classic, dating from 1928. Pristine white outer petals form crisply cut bowls enfolding golden petaloids. This mid-season peony has an RHS Award of Garden Merit and was a winner of Best in Show at Chelsea. One of the best white peonies, the fragrant blooms appear from late spring to early summer, glistening against a contrasting background of deep green, divided foliage. Height :60cm (24”). Spread: 75cm (30”).
