Peony ‘Doreen’

This old peony cultivar has classically beautiful looks. A Japanese style peony, Peony ‘Doreen’ has outer layers of bright, rosy-pink petals in several subtle shades which encircle a prominent pompon of frilly yellow stamens. The lightly scented blooms stand up well against wind and rain and are held on sturdy stems – a package which has earned this mid-season, long-blooming peony a well-deserved RHS Award of Garden Merit. Height: 90cm (36”). Spread: 50cm (20”).
