The beautiful Paeonia lactiflora Chippewa will add a vibrant splash of colour to your garden. This striking peony variety produces enormous, semi-double flowers in brilliant magenta-pink, complemented by golden-yellow stamens that create a luminous core to each blossom. Blooming in early to mid-summer, Chippewa adds a bright, joyful presence to borders and stands out in floral arrangements.
Plant in full sun or light shade in rich, well-drained soil. Water during dry weather and remove fading flowers to keep it looking neat. Cut back foliage in autumn after it has died down naturally. Combine with light salvia or white alliums for a bright contrast and a dynamic, pollinator-friendly planting arrangement.
