Paeonia Ellen Cowley – Peony

The vivid Paeonia Ellen Cowley will brighten up your garden in the early summer months. This gorgeous peony variety has huge, semi-double flowers in a vibrant pink colour that gradually softens to a delicate rose as it develops. Blooming earlier than many other peonies, it gives a flash of colour and a subtle scent to borders and floral arrangements.
 
Plant in fertile, well-drained soil, either full sun or partial shade. Water often during dry weather and trim back leaves in autumn when it has died down. It makes an excellent cutting flower and works well with soft blue perennials like nepeta or geraniums to create a balanced and bright garden show.
