Chilli Pepper Plant ‘7 Pot Pink’
£3.99
The rare pink super-chilli with extreme heat, Capsicum chinense ‘7 Pot Pink’, originates from Trinidad and is prized for both its unusual colouring and formidable heat. Its wrinkled, lantern-like fruits mature to a soft pinkish-peach hue, packing an intense punch ranging from 700,000 to 1,000,000 Scoville units. True to the “7 Pot” name, a single chilli is reputed to be hot enough to flavour multiple pots of food, delivering a fruity yet ferocious heat ideal for bold sauces and fiery dishes.
Grow in a warm, sunny, sheltered spot with fertile, well-drained soil, watering consistently and feeding with a high-potash fertiliser once flowering begins to support heavy cropping. Pinch out early growth to encourage a bushy, productive plant and lightly trim to maintain airflow and shape. A necessary choice for chilli collectors looking to grow something rare while producing seriously hot, small-batch sauces.
Supplied in approx. 9cm pots.
