This gorgeous Japanese maple is a specially selected purple leaved variety. With each leaf outstandingly shaped and palmate, they are of the deepest Purplish-Red available in acers, and turn a deep, deep Red in Autumn.
Plant in moist but well-drained soil in a sheltered spot in the garden. Leaves will look their best in partially shaded areas, but this Acer can tolerate sunnier spots so long as the soil remains moist. It is perfect for beds and borders as well as a feature pot on the patio. Prune minimally when the plant is dormant (November – March) and only to maintain a natural shape.
Supplied as strong branched trees in approx 2-3 litre containers.
