Its elegant, soft green leaves are edged in creamy white margins and flushed with pink in spring, a unique feature that gives the plant its ‘Flamingo’ name and standout appeal.
To maximise the height and colour of this wonderful acer, plant in a full-sun position in moist, but well-drained soil. Lightly prune to maintain shape and water regularly while establishing to encourage fresh, colourful growth. Pair with darker foliage shrubs and trees like sambucus and physocarpus for contrast.
