Wisteria Foribunda Macrobotrys – Large Specimen Plant 6ft

This amazing Japanese Wisteria is sure to give you wonderful vibrant blue flowers and a stunning spring scent. Delivered well established, this climber is already approximately 6ft high. Its dense dark green leaves contrast beautifully with the iconic, pea-like blue-purple wisteria flowers, hanging down in gorgeous dropping clusters up to 50cm long. It blooms in late spring or early summer filling gardens with a calming sweet spring fragrance. ‘Macrobotrys’ is a long-lived climber that doesn’t require high levels of maintenance and can thrive in many different conditions. A versatile plant it looks equally brilliant growing along walls, trellises, fences, or pergolas and can be placed in a pot or the ground directly.
Make sure you plant this Wisteria in a bright place as it does best in full sun or partial shade. It can establish in any soil type as long as it is moist but well drained and it can tolerate some levels of drought.
