Wisteria floribunda ‘Naga Noda’

In early summer, when Wisteria floribunda ‘Naga Noda’ is in full bloom, it is one of those plants that stops you in your tracks. Cascading down from an arch or pergola you will gasp at the impressive length of the flower racemes, which can reach up to 50cm. The deep violet-blue, pea-like flowers also fill the air with a sweet fragrance. Like other Japanese Wisterias, the blooms appear at the same time as the green, pinnate leaves. A gorgeous climber that is vigorous and easy to grow. The twisting stems of mature specimens continue to provide interest long after the flowering display has finished. Height: 6m (19.6ft).
