Weigela ‘Wings of Fire’ is a gorgeous plant well known for its fiery colours. The new leaves grow green in the spring, but after the spring flowering the foliage changes to a stunning red. The blooms come in clusters of pink trumpet-shape flowers along the branches. This plant makes a really beautiful addition to a garden and will look great in a shrub border.
To get the most colour put of this Weigela make sure to give it as much sun as possible, but it will tolerate some light shade.
