Verbena hybrida ‘Obsession Twister Red’ is a striking variety known for its distinctive bi-coloured blooms featuring vivid red petals highlighted with contrasting white centres. The eye-catching flower clusters create a dramatic display from late spring until autumn, bringing energy and colour to beds, borders, patio pots, and mixed containers. Its compact growth habit ensures a dense covering of flowers throughout the season, from late spring through all the summer months.
Perfect for attracting butterflies and other pollinators, this Verbena prefers a very sunny position in moisture-retentive, well-drained soil. Deadhead faded flower clusters regularly to encourage fresh blooms and prevent plants from becoming leggy. A fortnightly liquid feed throughout summer will promote stronger flowering, while occasional trimming of straggly stems helps maintain a neat, compact shape.
