Verbena hybrida ‘Obsession Apricot’ offers a softer colour palette, producing abundant flower clusters in warm apricot and peach tones that gently fade through the season. The delicate colouring brings warmth and sophistication to containers and borders, while the compact habit provides excellent garden performance and prolonged flowering throughout summer and autumn.
Perfect for attracting butterflies and other pollinators, this pastel Verbena prefers a very sunny position in moisture-retentive, well-drained soil. Deadhead faded flower clusters regularly to encourage fresh blooms and prevent plants from becoming leggy. A fortnightly liquid feed throughout summer will promote stronger flowering, while occasional trimming of straggly stems helps maintain a neat, compact shape. Water regularly during hot, dry spells, particularly when grown in containers and hanging baskets. Combine with white, red, or pink verbenas, or with lavender to create a bright, cheery summer arrangement.
