Tulipa Goldrace – Pack of 6

Tulipa ‘Goldrace’ or ‘Texas Gold’ brings a twist to the spring garden with its flamboyant, parrot-style blooms in bold yellow, streaked with flashes of fresh green. The large, frilled petals create a sculptural effect that adds texture and movement, making it a fantastic focal point in beds, borders, or large containers. 
 
For the best performance, plant in a sunny, sheltered location with well-drained soil. This variety pairs well with dark purples or rich reds for contrast, or soft pastels to highlight its brightness. Set bulbs in autumn, 10–15cm deep and spaced about 10cm apart. After flowering, remove spent blooms and allow foliage to die back fully. In heavier soils, lift and store the bulbs once leaves have yellowed. ‘Goldrace’ delivers dramatic colour and form, perfect for gardeners looking to add a bold statement to their spring displays.
