Tulipa ‘Barcelona’ commands attention with its vivid magenta-pink blooms that shimmer in the sunlight. The large, goblet-shaped flowers are smooth and symmetrical, often enhanced by a delicate silvery sheen on the petal edges. These bright colours add an energising presence to any spring display, whether planted en masse or mixed with whites, purples, or contrasting yellows.
 
Flowering in mid-spring, ‘Barcelona’ thrives in well-drained soil in full sun or light shade. Ideal for beds, borders, and containers, its bold appearance also makes it an outstanding cut flower. Plant bulbs in autumn at a depth of 10–15 cm and space them similarly to allow for a full, lush effect.
