Tulip Humilis Alba Coerulea Oculata – Pack of 6
£3.99
Tulipa humilis var. pulchella ‘Albocaerulea Oculata’ is a rare tulip with pristine white petals and a beautiful violet-blue centre that draws the gaze. These small blooms open wide in the sun and sit just above slender grey-green foliage, creating a soft, natural look. Flowering in early to mid-spring, it is ideal for rock gardens, alpine beds, or naturalising in grassy areas.
Plant in full sun and well-drained, sandy or gritty soil to replicate its native conditions. This variety thrives in sheltered spots and will return each year when allowed to settle undisturbed. Plant bulbs in autumn, 8–10cm deep and spaced 5–8cm apart. Let foliage die back naturally after flowering, and lift bulbs only if the soil is very heavy or wet. Tulipa ‘Albocaerulea Oculata’ is a charming, low-growing gem that brings a touch of the wild to spring gardens.
Supplied as a pack of 6 bulbs.
