In an exciting development from the usual plain green form, Trachelospermum jasminoides ‘Star of Milano’ bears beautifully variegated foliage, the glossy, pointed leaves adorned with pale to dark green patterning and creamy edges. In addition, instead of the plain white flowers, the star-shaped blooms of ‘Star of Milano’ are a lovely pale pink. This versatile climber suits any garden style, covering anything from walls, fencing to trellis. It’s even suitable for containers, ground cover or growing as a low, clipped hedge. Plant it somewhere you can appreciate its heady perfume – bees will love it too!Trachelospermum jasminoides is one of the best value climbers.
