Tomato ‘Piennolo del Vesuvio’ is a legendary Italian heirloom ready to produce clusters of small, oval red fruits steeped in tradition. This early, tall-growing variety (up to 1.5m) is highly productive, even in summer heat. Each fruit weighs 15–30g, with a sweet-sour, aromatic taste and firm texture, ideal for storing long after harvest. Traditionally hung in bunches to keep fresh for months, this variety has been treasured in Naples for over 300 years.
Plant in full sun and support with care. Water sparingly to enhance storage life. Harvest clusters when fruits turn red and slightly firm for extended shelf life.
