Called also the Golden Linden, Tilia x europaea ‘Wratislaviensis’ is a magnificent deciduous tree that is renowned for its eye-catching golden-yellow foliage. With a maximum height of twenty metres, this majestic tree is perfect for larger gardens and parks. It bears clusters of fragrant pale yellow flowers in late spring to early summer that draw bees and other pollinators. The broad, heart-shaped leaves produce a vibrant, lush canopy that changes to a stunning yellow in the autumn.
Plant in full sun to partial shade in well-drained, fertile soil. Water frequently in the early years to help the tree develop a robust root system; as the tree gets older, watering should become less frequent. Trim any dead or crossing branches to preserve shape during the late winter to early spring pruning season. Height circa 110cm.
Supplied in approx. 7 litre containers.
