Syringa vulgaris ‘Sensation’ is a beautiful lilac variety distinguished by its unusual and eye-catching blossoms. This cultivar is distinguished by its bicolor picotee flowers, which provide a striking visual effect, with each purple bloom being softly bordered in white. Late springtime is when the blossoms release a powerful, sweet aroma that fills the air, making it a favourite among gardeners who appreciate both perfume and appearance.This lilac is a great choice for a backdrop plant in a border or as a stand-alone specimen because it usually reaches a height of two to three metres. It grows best in full light, which promotes the best blooms, and it likes rich, well-drained soil. Additionally, “sensation” is not too difficult to maintain.
