The sweet Caribbean pepper with rich, aromatic flavour, Capsicum chinenese ‘Aji Dulce’, is a highly regarded variety, widely celebrated for its intense aroma and gentle taste. The small, lantern-shaped fruits grow to around 4-6cm across and offer all the depth of a hot chilli without the burn. Ideal for sauces, stews and traditional Caribbean dishes.
Plant in fertile, well-drained soil in a sheltered, sunny position to encourage strong growth. Water regularly and feed consistently throughout the growing season to support fruit development, with light pruning to maintain plant health.
