Strawberry ‘Sweet Colossus’

Do not settle for everyday strawberries this year – instead produce a heavy crop of ‘king sized’ fruits that even taste exceptional!

While many larger-than-normal fruits sacrifice some flavour for size, the produce of ‘Colossus’ could not be further from this, with massive strawberries bursting with flavour.

As a traditional June-bearing plant, most of the bountiful harvest will be seen in early summer, offering tasty treats just in time for Wimbledon! The conical berries are sweet and juicy, often weighing more than 40g each. You’ll get plenty of them too so overall yields will be very rewarding.

Grow this super new strawberry in a row in the garden or plant in containers. Just be sure to protect from blackbirds as they will love these jumbo strawberries almost as much as you!
