Sorbaria Sorbifolia Sem
£29.99
Sorbaria sorbifolia ‘Sem’, a compact deciduous shrub priced for its ever-changing foliage. Finely divided, fern-like leaves emerge in vibrant shades of coppery-pink and bronze before maturing to soft golden-green, creating a unique display from spring through autumn. In summer, plumes of fragrant creamy-white flowers rise above the foliage, attracting bees, butterflies and other pollinators. Its naturally neat, compact habit makes it an excellent choice for borders, woodland gardens, mixed shrub beds and patio containers.
Easy to grow and exceptionally hardy, ‘Sem’ thrives in full sun or partial shade in moist, well-drained soil. Unlike larger Sorbaria varieties, it remains compact and manageable, making it ideal for smaller gardens. Prune lightly in late winter or early spring to maintain shape and encourage colourful growth. Pair with heuchera or hydrangea for a planting scheme full of contrasting foliage, texture and long-lasting seasonal interest. Reaches just 1 metre tall, creating a nice foliage structure.
Supplied in approx. 5 litre containers.
