Sequoia Sempervirens – Coast Redwood

Thrives in full sun with deep, fertile, moist but well-drained soil, and benefits from a sheltered position in cooler climates. Mulch to keep roots cool and moist. Best for large, open spaces. Pair with Cedrus atlantica ‘Glauca’, Metasequoia glyptostroboides, or Quercus robur for a heritage-style planting with dramatic, long-term impact.
