In late summer, Sedum telephium ‘Purple Emperor’ produces wide panicles of ruby-red flowers that persist well into autumn. The striking blooms are loved by butterflies and provide a useful source of late season nectar for pollinating insects. This superb hardy perennial holds an RHS AGM for its garden performance.
