Producing wonderfully unique blooms. Scadoxus multiflorus subsp. katherinae, to give it the full scientific name, forms spectacular spherical flower heads made up of hundreds of tiny florets. Appearing in late spring to early summer, these firework-like blooms create an instant focal point and bring an exotic, tropical feel to borders, containers and sheltered garden spaces.
The unusual bulb thrives in full sun with well-drained soil and partial shade. Keep the soil lightly moist during active growth and allow it to dry slightly during dormancy; no pruning is required.
Supplied in approx 1.5 litre containers, this is a very choice, rarer and unusual plant to have in your garden.
