Scadoxus Multiflorus – Blood Lily

Producing wonderfully unique blooms. Scadoxus multiflorus forms spectacular spherical flower heads made up of hundreds of tiny scarlet-red florets. Appearing in late spring to early summer, these firework-like blooms create an instant focal point and bring an exotic, tropical feel to borders, containers and sheltered garden spaces.
The unusual bulb thrives in full sun with well-drained soil and partial shade. Keep the soil lightly moist during active growth and allow it to dry slightly during dormancy; no pruning is required.
