Rosa ‘Jacques Cartier’ is a much-admired old Portland rose, producing exquisite, fully double, quartered blooms in a soft, warm pink. Strongly fragrant with a rich, classic rose perfume, it flowers repeatedly from early summer into autumn, unlike many historic roses. Compact, bushy, and clothed in healthy grey-green foliage, it brings romance and elegance to any garden.
Plant in full sun or partial shade in fertile, well-drained soil. Prune in late winter or early spring to maintain shape and encourage flowering. Perfect for cottage gardens, traditional rose beds, or as a fragrant specimen shrub where its beauty and perfume can be enjoyed up close.
