Rosa ‘Ispahan’, also known as the Pompon des Princes, is a classic old Damask rose, treasured for its profusion of richly scented, double blooms in a soft, clear pink. Flowering once in early summer, it produces a generous flush of loosely cupped flowers that fill the garden with a powerful, sweet fragrance. Vigorous and bushy with healthy grey-green foliage, it’s one of the most reliable old roses for both beauty and scent.
Plant in full sun in fertile, well-drained soil. Prune lightly in late winter or early spring to maintain shape. Perfect for cottage gardens, heritage planting schemes, or as a specimen shrub where its fragrance can be best enjoyed.
