Rosa ‘Constance Spry’ is a much-loved climbing rose, famous as the first rose bred by David Austin. It produces large, fully double, cup-shaped blooms in a soft rose-pink with a powerful myrrh fragrance. Flowering once in early summer, it creates a magnificent display that makes a lasting impression. With its vigorous growth and arching canes, it’s perfect for covering walls, arches, and pergolas with old-fashioned charm.
Plant in full sun or partial shade in fertile, well-drained soil. Train and tie in new shoots, and prune after flowering by removing older stems. Ideal for cottage gardens, traditional planting schemes, or as a statement rose for vertical features.
