Ribes Uva-Crispa – Red Gooseberry – Standard Fruit Tree

A reliable heavy cropper producing delicious red berries bursting with flavour. These treasures hang like glistening rubies amongst the emerald green foliage.
Gooseberry Red is vigorous and shows good disease resistance, enabling it to provide a rewarding summer harvest which can be enjoyed in a multitude of ways. Perfect for making tasty sticky jam or as part of pudding, or allow them to ripen fully and enjoy their naturally sweet freshly-picked flavour as a snack.
Supplied as well established grafted plants with an approx. 80cm clear stem and an overall height of around 120cm growing in approx. 4 litre containers. Self pollinating and very easy to grow and care for, in season, our plants will be supplied with plenty of tasty berries to whet your appetite straight away.
