This modern evergreen Azalea certainly deserves its RHS Award of Garden Merit. Ruffled, orange-red blooms stand out nicely from the boldly variegated foliage. The evergreen leaves are olive green, with bright cream margins that add year round colour to borders. Rhododendron ‘Girard’s Variegated Hot Shot’ has a low spreading habit that makes a superb feature towards the front of acid borders. For a showy display on the patio, grow it in a containers or a raised bed. Height: 75cm (30).
