Red Abysinnian Banana

These truly exotic bananas have huge, arching leaves with maroon margins and stems with the colour becoming redder the more sunshine they receive. A little less hardy that Musa basjoo, grow them in pots to overwinter away from hard frosts. Delivered as an estalished plant in a 9cm pot, approx. 30-40cm tall, ready to plant out.

Please note that plants may a bit taller in summer when sent out as growth is rapid.
