Pulsatilla Vulgaris – Blue Pasque Flower

With soft, nodding blooms of violet blue, Pulsatilla vulgaris is a standout choice for early spring interest. With each flower centred above golden stamens, held above silvery-green foliage, this plant adds texture even when not in bloom.
This perennial thrives in a sunny position, with sharply drained soil and is particularly well suited to rock gardens, gravel beds, raised borders, or sunny slopes where excess moisture can drain away freely.
