Prunus Kanzan – Cherry Blossom Tree – 160cm

A magnificent decorative cherry tree, the Prunus Kanzan is renowned for its ostentatious springtime display. From mid to late spring, it produces a profusion of huge, double pink flowers that provide a stunning canopy of colour. The dense clusters of lush, colourful blossoms create a stunning picture that draws pollinators and bees. The tree’s lance-shaped, green leaves make a stunning backdrop in the summer and change to warm orange and bronze in the autumn to offer seasonal interest. 
Plant the Prunus Kanzan in full sun with well-drained, fertile soil. This robust and hardy tree is low-maintenance, requiring only minimal pruning in late winter or early spring to maintain its shape and remove any dead or crossing branches.
Supplied as a strong bare root tree at a height of around 160cm.
