Primula Auricula ‘Berti’

The pretty perennial Primula auricula ‘Berti’ is prized for its vivid, richly coloured blooms that have a striking yellow centre and bloom in hues ranging from deep red to burgundy. This pretty plant blooms in the spring and adds a vibrant pop of colour to rock gardens, containers, and shaded borders. Its evergreen foliage rosettes provide interest all year long.
Plant in soil that is well-drained and rich in humus in partial shade. Water the soil frequently enough to keep it damp but not soggy, and lightly mulch the soil to keep it that way and keep weeds from growing. To stop leaf rot, don’t water your plants from above.
