Potentilla ‘Pretty Polly’ is an amazing compact shrub with a long flowering season and masses of colourful flowers. This perennial is smothered in saucer-shaped, light pink flowers all the way from mid-Summer to late-Autumn. The strong red stems bear bright small green leaves that give this shrub a vibrant green colour before the leaves turn understated shades of yellow and fall in winter. This is a hardy, drought-tolerant shrub perfect for a sunny border, rock garden, or container display adding colour and interest for many months. Low growing and mound forming ‘Pretty Polly’ can be used as ground cover or as a small-medium shrub.
Shrubby Cinquefoils are best planted in a well-drained area exposed to either full sun or partial shade. It is hardy so can grow in exposed or sheltered gardens and is able to establish in all soil types and pH.
