Potato Ratte is a classic early French variety of potato, it has been prized for over 70 years for its delicious tubers with a popular chestnut flavour. It is easy to grow and care for, enjoying a sunny spot to develop in. This Solanum tuberosum is ideal for boiling, it features a much-loved quality of not disintegrating during cooking!Potato Ratte would look fantastic planted in a kitchen garden or on a pretty patio with a spacious area to spread, ready to harvest in July and August and will deliver on flavour, texture and appearance. We secure the earliest, freshest lifted tubers to start our potato despatches in December, ensuring the best quality stock for our customers. We recommend storing in a cool, dark place until ready to chit.
