Picea Pungens ‘Lucky Strike’

This dwarf evergreen shrub is the perfect container plant with a stunning conical shape and compact growth. ‘Lucky Strike’ has thick grey-green needle-like leaves that are a bright green when young. A very traditional conifer variety it has oblong, green cones in the summer which gradually turn red giving your garden great autumn interest. Its open beautiful green growth will give you structure and colour during duller winter months and can add height to a border.
 
We recommend using this as a specimen container plant on a patio and it also is perfectly suited to lining a path or driveway. ‘Lucky Strike’ is a versatile hardy plant which thrives in full sun but can grow in partial shade. It prefers moist but well drained soil and can tolerate exposed or sheltered areas. Plant height at around 50-60cm.
