Phormium Yellow Wave – Gold Sword New Zealand Flax

A broad plant with wide sword-shaped leaves, this makes a magnificent feature plant for a large, sunny garden. The architectural form of Phormium ‘Yellow Wave’ will provide structure and act as a foil for flowering plants. It copes particularly well with wind and coastal sites.
This versatile and very attractive plant can look stunning in a modern galvanised planter surrounded by a group of other phormiums, or perhaps as a statement piece in a garden bed. A versatile evergreen plant that will tolerate a range of conditions and look at home in a variety of different planting schemes.
Phormium Yellow Wave is a large, robust species with thick, bright, multi-shaded green leaves with almost yellow central colouring.
