Phormium ‘Duet’, commonly known as New Zealand Flax, is a bold, evergreen architectural plant. Its upright habit and variegated sword-like leaves make an excellent focal point that provides structure and visual impact throughout the year.
Thriving in a sunny to lightly sheltered position with well-drained soil, this robust plant is well-suited to modern gardens, coastal planting schemes, large containers, and mixed borders where form and foliage are key design elements. Low maintenance and reliably evergreen, Phormium ‘Duet’ requires only occasional removal of old leaves to maintain its clean, sculptural form.
