Bold and brilliant, Narcissus ‘Tamara’ lights up early spring gardens with its golden-yellow trumpets and neatly flared petals. A reliable classic with a commanding presence, this variety is perfect for creating colourful drifts in lawns, borders, or naturalised woodland areas. Each sturdy stem bears a single flower, making it equally effective in formal displays or wild garden schemes.
Plant bulbs 10–15cm deep and around 10cm apart in fertile, well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. For a high-impact spring display, combine with contrasting blue Crocus vernus ‘Jeanne d’Arc’ or Scilla sibirica for a dazzling colour echo, or underplant flowering shrubs and trees for added seasonal drama.
