Narcissus ‘Cheerfulness’

Cheerfulness is one of the very few really sweetly scented narcissi you can buy, with lovely creamy double flowers, too. RHS Award of Garden Merit winner. Flowers March-April. Height 40cm. Gardenia Narcissus is so named due to its resemblance to gardenias. We’ve picked this variety due to its delightful fragrance and big velvety-soft double blooms, which are packed with rows of petals and frills. Flowering from March-April, Gardenia Narcissus make beautiful cut flowers – they can also be forced indoors for winter blooms – but, as with all double narcissi, don’t cut them before they are fully open.
