‘Balmy Pink’ is a dwarf form of Monarda, selected for its early flowering and resistance to mildew, which can be a problem with other varieties. The vivid pink flowers, composed of whorled clusters of flowers bracts, are quite unlike any other perennial flower. They look wonderful next to the contrasting flower shapes of other dwarf ‘Prairie-style’ perennials. The flowers and foliage are richly aromatic, earning Monarda the name ‘Bee Balm’ as it is highly attractive to pollinators.

Plant in well-drained soil, full sun or partial shade. Water frequently to keep the soil consistently moist, as it flourishes in moist environments. Deadhead spent blooms to encourage more flowering, and prune back in the autumn to prepare for the following growing season. A resilient, low-maintenance plant for a vibrant, colourful garden.

Supplied in approx 2-3 litre containers.
