Miscanthus ‘Purpurascens’ – Flame Grass

Grown for its clumps of upright open green foliage that can offer distinctive flame orange and red tints from late summer this grass will set the Autumn scene a-blaze in your garden.
In late summer it throws up silky flower plumes that fade to feathery silver. These persist over the plant in to winter creating a wonderful effect once jack frost has done his work. Great for structure, and combined with other late summer and autumn interest plants
