Lysimachia Nummularia ‘Aurea’ – Golden Creeping Jenny

Known by most as Golden Creeping Jenny, Lysimachia nummularia ‘Aurea’ is a pretty evergreen perennial with vivid golden-yellow foliage. This low-growing, trailing plant makes an excellent ground cover, spiller in container gardens, or hanging basket filler because it grows into a dense mat. It bears tiny yellow cups-shaped flowers in the summer that accentuate the richness of its foliage.
Plant in full sun to partial shade in moist, well-drained soil. Perfect for pond edges or bog gardens, Golden Creeping Jenny grows well in consistently damp conditions and can even withstand wet soils. Water often to maintain uniform moisture in the soil, especially in dry spells.
