Lobelia Speciosa Starship Burgundy Red

Lobelia Starship Burgundy is a deep red perennial lobelia this shoots up fiery spires of intense red 60-80cms tall flowers stems in mid-late summer.
It is a wonderful addition to the garden offering good colour when many plants may be running out of steam. Compact and bushy, with attractive fresh foliage, these are ideal in a mixed border – try blending with silvery colours for an interesting combination to highlight the red or perhaps simply combine in a bright tropical scheme. They even look good in summer patio planters as something a bit different.
If you have a damp spot, even the margins of a pond, they’ll do well here too, mulch for winter and watch them grow back bigger and better every year. A bright ‘sexy’ show off colour. Supplied looking good as pictured in season in approx. 1 litre containers these are super plants.
