Liriope Muscari ‘Ingwersen’ – Lily Turf

Liriope muscari ‘Ingwersen’ is a tough and versatile evergreen perennial, valued for its dense, grass-like foliage and late-season flowers. Grass-like evergreen foliage set with tall spikes of lavender-blue, hyacinth-like blooms from late summer, well into autumn. Slow spreading, it can be used as a groundcover or garden accent plant, and even in a container. The flowers appear when other garden plants are starting to fade, and the broad grass like foliage contrasts beautifully with larger leafed plants. Will grow to approx. 30cm tall in sun or shade, and is tolerant of drought too!
 
Thrives in sun or partial to full shade and tolerates a wide range of soils, including dry spots once established. Low-maintenance and drought-tolerant. Ideal for shady borders, woodland gardens, or as an attractive alternative to traditional lawn edging.
