Lavender Seeds – Hidcote Blue

A compact variety of the popular English lavender. Hang bunches of flowers to dry and use it in pot-Poruri indoors. RHS Award of Garden Merit winner. Flowers July-August. Height 50-60cm (20-24). Middle of border variety. HP – Hardy perennial. Culinary note: Some parts of these flowers are edible. There are many ways to use lavender flowers, both in sweet or savoury dishes. Make a delicious lavender sugar and add to biscuits, sorbets, jams or jellies. Add flowers to vegetable stock and create a tasty sauce for duck, chicken or lamb dishes.
