Laurentia axillaris ‘Starshine Blue’ is a little plant with serious flower power, producing a sparkling display of blue-purple stars above fresh, finely divided foliage. Each flower has five long, slender petals, giving the blooms their distinctive pinwheel-like appearance and creating a wonderfully light, delicate effect.
Compact and naturally well branched, ‘Starshine Blue’ forms a neat mound around 20-30cm tall. Once flowering gets underway, the blooms keep coming throughout the summer, making this a lovely choice for patio pots, hanging baskets and the front of sunny borders.Laurentia thrives in well-drained soil in a sunny location, providing months of constant colour. For the greatest results, water on a regular basis and feed occasionally. For a calm summer arrangement, combine pinks, white calibrachoa, and trailing lobelia, or mix with bold colours for a vivid effect. Perfect for brightening patios and cottage-style landscapes.
